It's two pieces, a black rubber lining and a white hard plastic outer shell

Metal outside with soft, yet tough plastic inside clearly cushions impacts fully

Adding the hard plastic piece was a breeze

Though the kick stand initially came off the first time, I removed the case from the lower portion to adjust the kick stand to have it's "hinges" resting in the proper place within the hard plastic case

It's cheap plastic, and I'm afraid to move it too much in case it breaks completely.

There is only very smooth plastic to graspThe volume and power buttons are completely flush with the rest of the case

The flip-out stand on the back is just a really flimsy plastic

Decent case, the kick stand feels like its made of a very cheap plastic

After thats on, i just snap the plastic on and its good to go

I would have given 5 stars if not for the flimsy plastic kickstand, otherwise it's great!

Once fully on, the hard plastic case should keep any play on the hing from loosening it self

The only thing I don't like about it is that it is a hard plastic back scratches easily.

We found it when we started smelling the plastic

The hard plastic layer feels very strong and wraps around the front of the phone in enough places that you don't have to worry about the rubber part sagging around the screen (that's a huge pet peeve of mine)

The plastic is kind of slick but it does the job.
