Bought the Spigen "Tough Armor" case for my Wife's Galaxy S8 and within 3 days the outer shell cracked from the side to the camera cutout

What also impressed me was that the outer shell that keeps soft shell snug did not pop off and stayed "glued" to it!

4 stars on the S8 model because the rubber doesn't stick out past the hard shell on the back

One key difference between the black and gunmetal is the outer plastic shell on the gunmetal is smooth plastic but the black has a rubberized texture coating on the outer plastic hard shell.

The case is okay but the color of the hard shell is painted on and after a few weeks started showing black scratches on the back of the case

I'm glad that the Bixby button is textured to differentiate it from the volume rocker, but I do wish that there was texture to the other buttons so that you could find them easier, particularly the power button - just a little notch that stands up in the middle of the button because the depression from the hard shell around it is barely enough to find it by feel alone.

The best thing about this case is that the rubber enclosure and the hard shell do not interfere with interaction of the wireless charger
