I am giving it one star because, while the lift is smooth, it does take some pressure to get it going.

and I had two 24 inch monitors on this (one of which is fairly heavy), but still, the purpose of the desk is to allow for easy lifting and lowering, right?

I would have liked more depth to the top because my monitors were a little closer to my eyes than I like.

The monitors didn't fall off either, which is good.

I like the way it looks, but it's not a viable sit/ stand option unless you're extremely strong and not worried about your back.

This is a life saver

Unlike some of the more expensive standing desk, once you release the lever to raise it, you have to use your own strength to lift it, and if you have monitors etc... on top, it can be rather heavy.

This is a really great desk for someone looking to be able to stand and sit on and off throughout the day

The desk itself is a little hard to move up, it's pretty heavy and when putting it down you have to be ready to steady it because otherwise it will slam down

I went though months of physical therapy because of a crappy desk setup at work that caused a ton of neck pain
