The only complaint I have is that if she holds them at a slight upward angle, they don't cut the paper, just slide over it and bend it, like trying to cut left handed using right hand scissors.

These are right handed scissors

One of our sons is left handed and the other is right handed, and they can both use these without an issue.

She uses her left and right hand for cutting.the scissors work with both hands easy.

Scissors work as they should at least.
