    • This was a simple solution to easily create a USB3 external hard drive (without the need of an additional power supply.)While there should have been files on the drive, I had to create a partition and format it to use it (so data was lost), not a big deal but beware it might happen to you!
    • Had replaced a MacBooks drive, but needed data from the original drive, and this worked without issue.
