For whatever reason, got much better speeds using this than putting hdds in a portable case and using the 10 pin micro USB cable

I myself use an SSD as an external drive since I cannot go back to slower speeds (when I can, that is) of HDDs

As for transfer speed, the speed was restricted by the speed of the drives or by my old USB 2 ports, so the cable cannot be blamed
