It's unfortunate as it is very convenient to be able to have 3 monitors connected at the same time, but this hub is just too inconsistent to get a good rating.

What good is a hub if it can't be near the displays

In practice, this hub is incapable of running more than one monitor, which makes it nothing more than a glorified displayport adapter

I tried to use this at first with the display port on the system board(Dell Optiplex 980), but it made the computer shut off, so I bought a Nvidia workstation card which the hub did not perform correctly with this card as well

I am still looking for a better Hub for my Surface.
