SteelSeries Arctis 7 Lag-Free Wireless Gaming Headset with DTS Headphone:X 7.1 Surround for PC, Playstation 4, VR, Mac and Wired for Nintendo Switch, Android and iOS - Black

    • all goodThe mic sounds good and clear but makes your sound more metallic or as if your on a radio station, bad part is the build and size, my head neither my ears is big, but i believe the ear cups and the headset itself is small, my ears touches the speaks inside in the middle and it really hurts after some hours of gaming and even hurts next following days, probably its because of the metal head band pushing hard on the ears cups,i also tried to resize the ski head band but nothing helps
    • there awsome i play pc alot and these help alot on CS GO but keep in mind if buying these and your ears pop out a little bit, after a while ur ears will hurt, like especialy when u wake up but ull get used to it and it wont hurt hardly anymore
    • I am still leaving 1 star off since I still can't get them to sound quite as clear or balanced as my old G230, or the G933.I thought that the shallow ear cups would hurt my ears very quickly, but so far it hasn't had that effect.-------------------------Sounds nice for music
    • There's little to no bass, it seems to peak so loud it hurts my ears at every high pitched sound, and it just sounds very cheap
    • So the shallow ear cups pinch my ears, badly
    • So after about 2 hours your ears will be sore because of the hard plastic being pressed on your ear ridges
    • Large-eared humans beware
    • Edit after buying the Arctis 7 replacement pleather ear pads: AMAZING
    • While my ears ached as a whole, where my glasses rest was incredibly uncomfortable fairly quickly, after about 1 boss (15 minutes max
    • The problem I'm seeing with the top of peoples ears hurting is immediately understandable, if I don't have them positioned right then the top of the speakers are pressing directly into the top of my ears
    • Comes with really cheap stock earcups that hurt your ears after wearing only a short time
    • The cat ear ones are complete crap, considering the price
    • My ears KILL me from lobe to cartridge
    • It started to cause a lot of ear aches and headaches which just wasn't worth it
    • I currently wear glasses and don't experience too much discomfort, and my ears never really get hot from using this for long periods of time
    • if you have big ears-Virtual DTS Surround Sound is subpar at bestI ended up returning them because it hurt my ears wearing them
    • I've gone through many headphones because they always end up hurting my ears after 30-90 minutes
    • again!ear cups fit well, are very soft and comfortable
    • Another negative is comfortability; my ears get hot after only 45-60 minutes
    • So the shallow ear cups pinch my ears, badly
    • I think the headset would be a lot better with adjustable ear pieces that slide up and down like Razers' headsets do
    • After a few hours of playing with my old turtle beaches they would start to hurt my ears, but with these you don't even realize that your wearing anything
    • I love this, I have small ear
    • After long periods of wear the headset does start to hurt my ears, which is not nice, however I have never had a new headset that wasn't "broken in" that didn't hurt my ears
    • The default ear cups hurt my ears before too long
    • I work at my computer all day long, and there is nothing worse than throwing good money down on a pair of "high-end" headphones and wanting to take them off your head because your ears are being pinched
    • Every once in a while the chat/game mix changes itself (game sound mutes) and I have to fiddle the right ear volume to reset it
    • They just showed up today and they are a little better, but my ears still get painfully sore after an hour or two of wearing these.------------------------------------------------------------Got this delivered today
    • The inside of the earphones where the plastic is (covered by a very very thing layer of cloth to somehow make it comfy or to protect your ears from hitting the plastic where the sounds come from, does not do it for me
    • In other words, the nifty dial on the right ear piece does nothing
    • After long periods of wear the headset does start to hurt my ears, which is not nice, however I have never had a new headset that wasn't "broken in" that didn't hurt my ears
    • After a steady 5 hour session of constant wear I found that my ears did get a little hot but they stayed completely dry, showing no signs of swamp ear or any issues with suctioning them off for so long
    • Its so comfortable and doesnt hurt your ears at all
    • If you attempt to turn it up on the headset the voice chat would kill ur ears
    • I've unknowingly done this a couple times and either almost blew my ears out or turned it all the way down without realising.
    • Hurts ears if you wear it for mote than an hour.
    • does not last 24 hours like they say if your playing for over 2 hours you get all hot And sweaty and your ears get itchy because the cups are not breathable not the best for ps4!!
    • In my case, turning volume down from full causes the left ear to be noticeably louder than the right.
    • Very comfortable ear cup and head band design
    • If you have a big head like me, or big ears, you might want to go with something else
    • It was not very light, and when I put the headset on I could feel the speakers when I put it on with my ears, and I couldn't wear it for more than an hour and half before my ears would start to hurt
    • My biggest issue with this headset is the amount of discomfort from wearing these for more than an hour due to the ear pads not being thick enough causing my ears to become sore from hitting the drivers
    • This hurts my ear for extended use.- Flushed mic mute button
    • This was supposed to replace Logitech Artemis but no matter how I adjusted the sound, it becomes more obvious that the sound quality is just not there.- Hollow ear cups
    • I never noticed any discomfort with my a50s, but with these my ears are already uncomfortable after a few hours because my ears are squished against the inside of the ear cup
    • (my PS Gold headset would hurt my ears after a while), and the battery life is amazing
    • Can be used to play for hours without weighing your head down, hurting your ears or running out of battery.
    • Also, they shut off after a few minutes of no noise coming out (maybe you are in voip and no one has happened to talk for a few minutes) even if they are charging; so you have to turn them back on - dealing with the above, and possibly hurting your ears (although mostly its just annoying).I thought I wouldn't like the way the mic is pulled out and stored, but it works fine.
    • My favorite part of this headset is the soft ear cups
    • The earcups are too shallow, so my ears were jammed right up against the hard plastic
    • My ears hurt after a few hours, but what headset doesn't do this?
    • The end result is that I am able to balance the sound between these two channels, allowing me to play music and game sounds only, voice chat only, or blend the two together with a simple mixer balance wheel on the right ear
    • I can wear these for a long time and my ears don't get too hot either
    • It just hurts my head and ears with prolonged use.
    • But after a while the squishyness of the ear cups start pull the headset too close to your head and the insides hurt your ears
    • Not to mention the ear cups are freaking comfortable and don't hurt my ears after playing for long periods of time.
    • My biggest issue is the shallow ear cups becoming quite uncomfortable on my ears, as they sit directly on them
    • But unfortunately it has a tendency to lose all sound in the right ear
    • Ok due to the ear crushing effect
    • My ears will hurt like hell after 2 hours of use
    • Purchased this $149.99 Arctis 7 headset because I wanted a change from my previous surround sound Logitech G35 headset, plus the G35's right ear piece stopped working

    • The ear muffs on these are very comfortable and the suspension better than any other set I have used (this may be because of my larger than average head).
    • Finally, while it's quite comfortable I have a large head and it pushes in on my ears pretty bad
    • The ear cups are way too shallow - leaves my ears red and hurting
    • This is the first headset I have owned that have not hurt my ears past 30 minutes of use
    • One feature in particular that I love is that is has a "Chat" and "Game" audio profile, as well as a volume knob to focus on one or both on the back of the right ear cup
    • It is not something that bothers me a
    • Nonetheless I feel spoiled by the clever mic design, although the quality could be improved, as well as the well balanced and enriched audio it can produce
    • I use these for work as I work from home and use these for 2-3 hours a day
    • no lighting is just odd-Not loud as connecting it directly with usb to headphone connection-this is a solid 125$ headset I believe its overpriced a
    • These are perfect A+++++
    • I don't like it as a
    • when I got it, it paired very quickly with my console and the headband was extremely comfortable as well as around the ears.
