This software is in no way comparable to the audio improvement provided by the software controls shipped with SoundBlaster EVO or SoundBlaster E-Series for example, and the headphone audio quality is not even as good as Koss PortaPro headphones, which have much smaller drivers, never mind the AudioTechnica M50 series, which has been my quality/price-point audiophile headphone of choice for years.

The Arctis 7 is definitely a more compact headphone, which I like, but there is a trade-off for just how wide/loose you can wear it

Overal, these are great headphones, I would just suggest that you use them with a sperate microphone.

If you want high quality I'd suggest saving and going with headphones and a blue yeti, If you don't care about wires then Modmic and headphones are great

He uses the headphones for gaming and he really likes that the microphone is adjustable so that his friends can't hear me when I am talking to him while he is playing.
