There's a lot that I like about the Arctis 7, but the only bad thing is the most important thing about a set of headphones: the sound quality.

Upon receiving them, the most impressive thing for me was actually the comfort level.

This is a good thing for work calls so you can hear yourself, but on an airplane you'll hear a lot of ambient noise

These things sound great with 2nd party software, the steelseries software is poopish, kicking mud on and amazing product, and an amazing value

The very first thing I noticed about them vs. my ~$80 razer headphones that I had for about 5 years is they lack almost all bass

Sound is average enough, but man these things are heavy and will hurt your head after a couple of hours gaming.

All firmware and drivers are up to date and the engine is installed - no excuses, this thing is terrible.

Only weird thing is they crackle a little bit if ur standing in front of a operating microwave

The only negative thing is the fit, I have read reviews and some people say they are too loose, some say they are too tight

Two positive things about the headset would be build quality as they are very sturdy and long battery life, It easily lasts 24hr on a full charge

These things are magic: they allow for a near perfect balance of noise filtering to comfort, something that pleather or other materials haven’t even come close to

) IMPORTANT thing is that if you try to use it without updating the firmware and adjusting the volume on pc your mic volume will be tooo low

The mixer/volume is my new favorite thing turning people in discord up or down relative to my Spotify with one finger is awesome

One last thing, and this may just be an anomalous bug on my end, but when using Discord and playing Player Unknown's BattleGrounds both the Chat and Game audio drivers suddenly fail and the audio cuts out

Simplest things matter , I had LG Gruves with those simple features that help alot when using it for music

Other annoying thing (might be a Sony PS4 fault) the mic and audio adjustment does not work

Two things I don't like about a $150.00 dollar headset is they went cheap on this suspension band design, and the padding on the earcups for the cloth and the leather could have been thicker

These things sound decent, feel pretty good over the ears

I'm not saying this is a bad way to do it, all I know is that if I'm paying $100+ for a surround sound gaming headset I want things to sound clear, and these do not
