When I visited the friend I found out that the handle is so hot when water boils that you need a potholder to lift it

I love the look of this tea kettle, the heat resistant handle and the ability to pour without touching the hot piece.

The stay cool handle actually works

The handle remains hot for some time requiring a hot pad or glove when lifting

While the handle doesn’t get too hot, the lever to open the spout does

so I really can't understand the cool handle feature.

I am a big fan of the way the handle doesn't get hot because I always forget to use pot handles and would burn my hands with my old tea kettle

It also has a heat resistant handle so you don't need to worry about getting burns on your hand, it's completely safe

The stainless steel is top quality, bottom of the teapot fits over the burner and the handle doesn't get hot.

The overall quality is very good the handle does get hot when making a full pot

Stainless steel, looks great and has a handle cool enough to lift (it is still warm - you may feel differently).The build quality seems good and with a stainless steel finish there is no concern about paint peeling.
