The only redeeming feature is a loud whistle, and I would give it two stars for that, but I simply can't because this thing is designed to boil water - if the handle had fallen off while it was full of scalding water it could cause serious injury.

One of the first things we noticed was how quickly the water boils compared to the other brand we had

When I visited the friend I found out that the handle is so hot when water boils that you need a potholder to lift it

It also has a straight pour spout which makes it impossible to spill my tea everywhere and protects from the heat of the tea as it comes out.
