I don't trust drywall mounts, so I didn't use the included plastic adapters

It comes with drywall anchors, but I decided to use my stud finder and screw it directly into the studs for a more solid mount.

It also looks great mounted as the grain in the wood paired with the stain makes it look like a pricier product and while it blends well with our darker wall (which was my intent), it would look equally as nice on a light colored wall because of that

Super easy to mount on our drywall type walls in our apt - loved the fact they actually came with the correct mounting & not some of the crappy stuff some vendors give you / EXCELLENT padded hooks / holds our two acoustic guitars perfectly (Washburn dreadnought & Ibanez parlor - bought two)

Comes with really good mounting hardware, and you have the option of mounting directly to a stud, or mounting on drywall using the screw-in style anchors that are included.

The only reason they are getting two stars is because the mount looks nice.. DO NOT TRUST THE MOUNTING HARDWARE

I would recommend only mounting into a stud, for me personally i can't imagine the horror of a nice Fender Strat coming down and hitting the floor

Warwick Thumb 5-string bass, that is the heaviest bass I have held (bass weighs a bit over 10lbs, this mount says 15lb max), and this mount holds it just fine.

Came with good drywall and wood mounting options

Not like the cheap-o hangers I've had before, very solid equipment.
