Only concern for ANY induction cook-top unit which has surface touch-sensitive controls is to be aware you may have to unplug the appliance and dry the controls if you have a major spill; if a liquid is covering the controls you probably will not be able to adjust the settings.

Heated up fast and love the accurate temp control.

Pros: (1) easy to clean (2) much faster to heat up whatever you are cooking compared to gas or electric stoves (3) you have a much better control over temperature as you can set your cooking temperature right on the device

I use it all the time because it is more economic than my electric range, but especially because of precise temperature control

Based on my brief use I think the wattage power settings are more useful (and similar to regular cook-top controls) for day-to-day regular use than starting with the temp settings.
