The leds get very hot if you leave them on for a while and it could be a hazard..as of anything, be careful.

After about a month of run time,the "pure white" LEDs started turning yellow and before long, almost all of the LEDs had yellowed.

Overall, these are good lights if you don't need individually addressable LEDs (like WS2812s) and the convenience of running them at 12v is significant.

six green LEds did not work after hooking up light string
