To those of you who don't know this, chromatic harmonicas use thin, plastic (or vinyl perhaps) wind savers, which are attached to the reed plates to make it easier to produce notes that are loud and clear

The holes are round, not square, and the harmonica is more comfortable to the mouth because of this and a more substantial area to plant your lips

The harmonica has held up well, though I have had to replace a few of the wind savers/valves (an easy task since I am able to remove the read plates to gain access to all of the windsavers)

Understanding that this is a 12 hole, and not a 16 hole, this harmonica is top of the line as far as I am concerned

Awesome harmonica

For sure it is a rip off of the Hohner Super 64 design: side by side, they are so similar in construction that there is little doubt in my mind that the Super 64 was the inspiration for this fine chromatic harmonica

I own a set of cheap harmonicas in each key, and I discovered that the key of G sounds the lowest

I wouldn't recommend this for beginners who might be discouraged and think playing the chromatic harmonica is more difficult than it really is.

This harmonica is completely useless

This is a great harmonica if you can snarf it up at the right price (I paid $105)

Excellent as all Suzuki harmonicas.

The only thing I don't like is the valves stick if the harmonica is cool and you can't play it until it warms up enough to dry up the condensation.

When I unpacked and warmed the harmonica in my hands then tried to play I could hear the windsavers clicking which made me a little nervous that they would be a problem.

It is one of the finest harmonicas made in the world.

I have owned 270s which were very difficult to play holes 11 and 12 on (though good technique is and important factor here, so you can't always blame the harmonica)

Unless this particular harmonica is the only rotten apple in the barrel I do not recommend the Suzuki Chromatic Harmonica.

I find this harmonica to be excellent.
