Probably user error, but the staples kept jamming and it seemed like I had to clear it out and reset the thing every time I went to use it

(The other item is a high page count 3-ring hole punch).I just keep three little boxes of staples next to it to adjust from lesser (35 page) to greater (100 page) staples as needed

You will need a long, thin letter opener to sneak into the magical insides to get those stupid staples out

Tested it with 90 pages and the appropriate staples and it worked fine.

That being said, it jams so incredibly easily that I've permanently kept a pair of needlenose pliers nearby to rip out the misshapen staples when it doesn't staple properly

Regular staples go through 2 at a time but the heavy duty ones work great one at a time ;)

I've noticed that every 4th or 5th staple becomes jammed and I have to take the pliers out to rip out the jammed staple

Even when the staple is at the edge where it is supposed to be, this so-called heavy duty stapler only pushes one end of the staple through the paper breaking the staple in the process

By used correctly, I mean, use the correct staples, staple all the way through the paper by pressing ALL the way down and don't staple over another staple.

If you choose the correct length staple for the job required, it's wonderful (If anything stronger is needed you would have to purchase from industrial sources such as: Shipping Departments, Factories and Carton Manufacturing Facilities)

Placing the stapler on a steady base or table, and pressing the handle down in a straight motion while stapling won't cause you any problems at all

It's very easy to load staples from the rear and to clear jams from the front.

But with this one, I may not have to since the 3/8" staples work great for almost all of the reports I need to staple.
