I was pretty fed up with the other "easy heavy duty" stapler I had, and the electric model at the office just couldn't manage the stacks of paper I present.
Otherwise when it works as it should, it staples beautifully and does a fantastic job.
Great value compared to office supply store price of this product (we saved about $14 dollars)
The price is essentially the same as the 60 sheet stapler, which I also have, and which is a good value in its own right(and much more sleek and compact).
This heavy duty stapler is a great value for stapling multiple pages of presentation handouts and can staple cardboard
So while it's not perfect, it does a very good job at what it's designed to do.
While this heavy duty stapler looks a little funny on my desk, it does a good job of piercing through an inch of paper (assuming you use the proper stapler)

I totally understand if it was for other reason but clearly the product has been defective and they couldn't do the right thing
But looking closely I realized that it's not my fault but the previous user's-the stapler was loaded with ordinary staples despite the warning that it would jam the product
The Swingline Deluxe Heavy Duty Stapler is a great product
The sad part is it cannot be fixed and the product is wasted.

I have returned this item and will be looking for a better designed stapler.
The most frustrating part is that their own brand of staples are so inferior they cause their well-designed and reliable device to malfunction

The only thing wrong with it was some idiot put regular staples in
Staples were easily inserted properly several times, then the final staple reload the black cover at the end of the spring failed because a small piece of plastic broke the housing channel that the spring was held in
That being said, it jams so incredibly easily that I've permanently kept a pair of needlenose pliers nearby to rip out the misshapen staples when it doesn't staple properly
the staples just crush, this thing isnt working well at all, I wish I would have used it as soon as I bought it, I would have returned it.
As long as I used a long-enough staple, this machine worked wonderfully

This is great for putting together kits we make, staples through a heavy plastic hang tag and a few layers of 4mil plastic bag like a charm and the depth gauge makes quick work of getting it right everytime.
