SYMA X5C 4 Channel 2.4GHz RC Explorers Quad Copter w/ Camera

    • I have noticed that one of the motors stops spinning long before the others so it could be a bad motor that is causing this.
    • Worked for about 5 hours of flight time then the motor broke down and it stopped working.
    • I'm a bit flummoxed though that the video includes sound, which records only a very loud motor noise while it is in operation
    • i'm afraid i'll have other problems with motors not working or the same issue.
    • Lack of guards may be related to "burning out" motors (which are not brush-less) but so far have not had any drones long enough to burnout a motor and replacement
    • The motors, props and spare parts are plentiful and it is incredibly easy to repair this quad
    • Don't try to fly it in strong winds, the motors are not strong enough.
    • One motor never worked on arrival.
    • so many of the replaceable parts are affordable; motors average about $2.50 each
    • One motor died after only a few time of usage
    • I burn out 2 motors by flying too often.
    • You can shut off the motor from 75ft in the air on to low cut grass and it will not break or bend
    • The motors are very noisy and will overpower any sounds in your videos
    • I picked it up, blew off the motors, and flew it right back in to the sky
    • If the props are in bad shape it may not have enough power to take off and you will wonder if there are other issues like battery power or bad motors.
    • The motor shuts off when it loses contact with the controller, so it plummeted into the woods/brush
    • I know a motor will go eventually but so far so good.
    • On the seventh flight one motor wouldn't work
    • I've seen others lose a motor out of the box or just after a few flights.
    • They are def going to crash this a lot and ruin the motors
    • I did have a motor burnout within about 15 flights but very easy to replace
    • Ordered a replacement motor (fairly cheap), all was well until transmitter decided to stop controlling the vehicle mid flight
    • The motors are cheap and easy to replace (easier if you have small fingers) but you need to replace all 4 motors to make sure it is balanced.
    • For that first flight, it is a good idea to just run the motors in a low-spin for 5 minutes to break in the motors
    • Motor burned out fast
    • We noticed one motor seemed weaker than the others on our first outing, and before long (and after a day stuck in a tree), the motor didn't have enough torque to spin the rotor.
    • Motor blew about a month in
    • The only complaint I have is that the motors are too weak to overcome wind, if you get too high up
    • One motor died after just a few times of use.
    • This thing worked at first, then the motors just stopped working
