    Synology 2 Bay NAS DiskStation DS218+ (Diskless)

    • Synloogy has great software and outstanding support.
    • Software is clear and simple to use
    • Solid design, ultra reliable, great software package
    • Pros:- Fantastic software
    • The software has always been excellent from Synology, with regular and (optionally) automatic updates
    • I have 2 desktops and one laptop on a WiFi network and the first issue was finding the right software to do the backups
    • This unit is polished enough (software updates,etc) that I would use it in a small business setting to replace a server as I believe it is that good
    • The DSM software from Synology is worth the premium in that regard.
    • Not as well built and serviceable as its larger siblings, but still a good value with the powerful Synology software.
    • Main reason for 1 star removal is lack of good backup software.
