This thing is really cool and a breeze to set up

I absolutely love this thing

Can't say enough good things about Synology NAS products, they are rock solid

With a few caveats, this thing is pretty good.

It loses a star because the main reason I bought this was to administer backups, and that's the hardest thing to do on this sucker.

This was my first NAS and this thing is great

This is fast, secure, and totally expandable -- three things I was looking for in a solution, and most importantly of all, accessible remotely.

Best thing about the UI are the "Stations".

The thing that really caught my eye was the copy button, but after researching some more, I really liked the Synology DSM or Disk Station Manager, which for those that don’t know is the name of the operating system.

The tradeoff is this thing is so solid.

The only thing I've adjusted is LED brightness since I keep this thing in my living room
