Awesome router, love its features and will only get better with time.

The Synology has certificate support which can be exported to other appliances and allows SYSLOG as well as other features.

If Synology would like to pack all their bells and whistles into this feature rich router, they should have provided a better hardware, otherwise, what is the value by having this router?

the user interface blows away any other that I have ever used; it is designed much like a windows system and it provides many robust features for the tech savvy and people that like to tweak their settings.

Looking forward to experimenting with all of the other features available like built in VPN client, intrusion protection etc.

This is handy for troubleshooting or just to get all the kids attention when they have difficulty dragging themselves away from their devices to do their chores (one of my favorite features!!!).

Love the security features, be sure to install the security add on that allows you to block specific attack types.

I like the nice touches like being able to disable the WPS button, controlling the LEDs so that they are turned on or off on a schedule (like, when you go to bed).One complaint, is that the guest network feature does not work all that well

Another great feature is that the VPN server and licenses are extremely useful for those looking to stay secure while on the road

I am amazed by Synology RT2600AC its easy to use GUI, performance and tons of useful features

While there is no perfect solution, this feature is a lot better than any router I have seen before

I still really enjoy the web UI and the features and functionality of the router

strong signal and many features to consider

The R8500 was faster overall than all of them but there was no way I was going to continue with replacements with repeated radio failures and wasn't going to put up with their tired interface and lack a features.

I wound up settling with the RT-AC5300 because it was almost as fast as the R8500 but had a better interface and features.

If you are selling this in the US market, why are you allowing one of the most important usability features to be this broken and continue to not fix this?

GUI rich fast with abundant features

Love the features on this router, but had to exchange it because the SD card reader was faulty.

Although I like the router and the features that it has, it did not work for me

The router has a lot of great features that I like but the router I replaced, a Cisco E3000, provided a lot better wireless coverage.

Set up is pretty easy, and the UI is relatively comprehensive (although it won't show you every device connected on each band, which is a big miss).Coverage is good with better coverage in a 3500 sq ft house, and it works as you'd expect in Access Point mode.

Not every manufacturer cares enough to support their products after it is sold to you, Synology's software and apps are the best in the business and everything just works as it should just like their NAS units.
