All in all a great value, great product, and I highly recommend.
Then, they don't pay for return shipping for your defective product, that's your responsibility
This product improved my overall speed from my old router.
Don’t usually write reviews but this router is an exceptional product and deserves credit
Being this was the second unit to drop LAN connections and being that the tech support experience was terrible I am changing my initial review rating of 4 stars to one and I can no longer recommend this product.
I went with another "top" brands with horrible results and then went with this one, I wish I used Synology first however if I did maybe I wouldn't have appreciated it as much for its reliability
Synology is an industry-leading, high-security, Enterprise-level NAS vendor.
Synology RT2600AC maximizes my WiFi connection where there is no performance lost both WiFi and Ethernet
This will do more than we need but Synology makes great
I recommend Synology to everyone when asked about my NAS and NVR solutions
Coverage of the wi-fi signal was as good or better than my previous AE's.
Set up is pretty easy, and the UI is relatively comprehensive (although it won't show you every device connected on each band, which is a big miss).Coverage is good with better coverage in a 3500 sq ft house, and it works as you'd expect in Access Point mode.
While the placement is not optimal the Cisco provided good wireless coverage.
Setup was good, but I didn’t get good coverage throughout the house

Although I like the router and the features that it has, it did not work for me
I like the nice touches like being able to disable the WPS button, controlling the LEDs so that they are turned on or off on a schedule (like, when you go to bed). One complaint, is that the guest network feature does not work all that well
I hope so because the router have very good features that I wanted on a router.
Lost a great features aswell as being reliable and fast this is a solid future proof router
The router has a lot of great features that I like but the router I replaced, a Cisco E3000, provided a lot better wireless coverage.
I like the app that lets you see network traffic by device
There's 3-4 applets to control things and 6 or so apps you can add to the router through the SRM just like you would add an app on your phone
I think the router looks cool and the apps are awesome and work well
I think the router looks cool and the apps are awesome and work well
I am unsure why the app is restricted; I have used Netgear's ReadyCLOUD app and it was able to backup my photos from the DCIM folder found on my sd card
I know there is a way to restrict speeds of applications rather than users, but I haven't figured it out
Okay, so, this router has great range and speed, the number of features and settings is mind-boggling, and the UI for managing those settings is fantastic.
This router has excellent speed and range and has excellent parental controls that are very effective and great firmware all around.
The same router w/MIMO enabled also had the slowest wireless speed test with the USB-
I don't know if a different brand router could get faster speed
I use the hard drives to back up my MAC using Time Machine
However, once a compatible drive is plugged in the sharing capabilities of this router is very capable for the price.
I don’t use it attached to a hard drive as a network server,
Not every drive is supported when plugged in to the router, especially RAID setups.
Wow, after Linksys, D-Link, TrendNet and 3 separate models of Asus router (right on through to the RT-AC88U) I think I finally found one that works properly without constant hiccups
