    • Note, if you decide to turn on the IPS (Intrusion Protection System) it will destroy your performance
    • This is a pretty robust device with really good performance running on a Linux kernel.
    • Rock-solid performance, the best router software experience on the market, and completely capable of handling gigabit service with ease.
    • Wireless performance throughout the house is improved over the previous b-g-n router I had
    • Very nice router and seeing much better performance compared to Netgear Nighthawk X6 AC3200.
    • It becomes worse quickly if I move away from the device while the ORBI maintain consistent performance
    • Excellent performance
    • It doesn't clearly help performance at closer distances, sometimes slows it down if the device connects to the slower router
    • If you don't need to run a VPN client on your router, then this router does have good performance and is easy to configure.
    • Performance for all models were inconsistent and neither of the top three dominated, but my choice was based on performance in locations and operations I perform the most, family feedback, features, product management and usability
    • Performance is also very good
    • Great high performance router
    • The big advantage of the Asus 86U is that it provides similar performance but also supports AIMesh
    • But poor performance stopped me from purchasing it and I forgot all about it.

    • Great performance.
    • The GUI is fantastic, and performance is great (as long as you don't use the IPS)
    • Awesome router boosted my performance, wifi and critically stability
    • Very strong performance and distance is great!

    • Or, perhaps, with time they might improve the performance with firmware updates
    • I had the RT1900AC for about 8 months and I just gave up and bought this RT2600AC in hope to get better performance with their VPN throughputs, and it did until I installed their new “Intrusion Prevention” App

    • Performance is good (I have gigabit Ethernet)
    • Great Router / AP, Simplistic setup and excellent performance
    • Wired and wireless performance was very good
    • Excellent WiFi performance and range that is covering three stories of my home
    • Beautiful design, super performance.
    • The performance of the router is good (not bleeding edge like some of the gaming-oriented routers from Netgear or Asus may be, but then again, I don't have to reboot them every week or few days.
    • Great Router / AP, Simplistic setup and excellent performance
    • Excellent performance and Parental Controls are exactly what I was looking for
    • Set up is pretty easy, and the UI is relatively comprehensive (although it won't show you every device connected on each band, which is a big miss).Coverage is good with better coverage in a 3500 sq ft house, and it works as you'd expect in Access Point mode.
    • Not every manufacturer cares enough to support their products after it is sold to you, Synology's software and apps are the best in the business and everything just works as it should just like their NAS units.
    • Upload speeds were equal and as good as or slightly better than other switches.- - - UPDATEFinally got around to testing additional 5 GHz channels and the ASUS
