• Reviews around signal (4.27 of 5)

    Synology RT2600AC Wi-Fi AC 2600 Gigabit Router

    • Signal is always good .. highly recommended
    • Great signal strength and range, and excellent router management system (desktop and mobile app)
    • I get a decent 5 GHz signal through four brick firewalls down the length of my apartment better than my Netgear R7000 ever threw.
    • It also switches automatically between 2.4ghz & 5ghz whichever gets a stronger signal.
    • I bought this router to replace my Verizon-leased one, which had spotty and times nonexistent signal in my bedroom and was very pricey at $10/mo ($120/yr)
    • The router is on the ground floor of my townhouse, and has no problem getting a good signal up to the third floor.
    • The WiFi signal is strong and no issues getting a signal inside or even outside of my home
    • I have excellent wireless signal everywhere (a couple iPhones, an iPad, 2 laptops, brother printer, a few Sonos speakers; PS4 and Roku are wired, not that they need to be)
    • An incredibly sophisticated, yet easy to setup router that gets excellent signal quality and speed
    • Strong signal and no drop outs
    • It has been working flawlessly with a strong signal and very fast connection
    • It automatically finds the best signal and roam between them
    • Great signal but too complicated
    • Speeds are incredibly stable over WIFI, wireless signal is also strong
    • Secondary benefit, the developing kids aren't awash in strong signals.
    • 5GHz by it's nature is not a good signal for homes, since it does not go through walls and floors very reliably and causes spotty connections with all routers, since the problem is the wavelength and not the unit.
    • The router is on the ground floor of my townhouse, and has no problem getting a good signal up to the third floor.
    • 2.4 GHz throws better through the walls if you need and also has a great signal.
    • The Synology router works really well, seems much more reliable, and has a stronger signal
    • Fantastic Router, Works great with multiple devices, great range, great signal
    • Now I have a strong signal throughout the house.
    • Pros: Good signal strength, range & throughput when it is not dropping network connections.
    • strong signal, powerful parental controls, and excellent interface make this a keeper; in the last year, I've used Netgear, Linksys, Asus, and D-Link models and after 2 weeks, this is so far my favorite; also, new firmware is released often
    • This time it accepted the WPA2 password, and my new SSID was showing up in my WiFi list - and according to diagnostics, with a very strong signal
    • strong signal and many features to consider
    • Admittedly, this is an early review but after setting up this router in my network I have gone from two SSIDs to one thanks to its band steering feature (no more separate 5Ghz network!) , my internet speeds are rock solid where the Asus struggled to negotiate correctly with my cable modem and I have a terrific signal in all corners of my house
    • Cant get smart tv’s to work
    • Then I disconnected from VPN, and Dropbox was dead I again
    • WiFi - 3G - LTE)The bonus
    • Upload speeds were equal and as good as or slightly better than other switches.- - - UPDATEFinally got around to testing additional 5 GHz channels and the ASUS
    • Set up is pretty easy, and the UI is relatively comprehensive (although it won't show you every device connected on each band, which is a big miss).Coverage is good with better coverage in a 3500 sq ft house, and it works as you'd expect in Access Point mode.
    • Not every manufacturer cares enough to support their products after it is sold to you, Synology's software and apps are the best in the business and everything just works as it should just like their NAS units.
