Being this was the second unit to drop LAN connections and being that the tech support experience was terrible I am changing my initial review rating of 4 stars to one and I can no longer recommend this product.
Both routers work well and I'm pleased with and would recommend the product
All in all a great value, great product, and I highly recommend.
Then, they don't pay for return shipping for your defective product, that's your responsibility
This product improved my overall speed from my old router.
This will do more than we need but Synology makes great
I went with another "top" brands with horrible results and then went with this one, I wish I used Synology first however if I did maybe I wouldn't have appreciated it as much for its reliability
I recommend Synology to everyone when asked about my NAS and NVR solutions
Synology is an industry-leading, high-security, Enterprise-level NAS vendor.
Synology should state clearly which of their apps work with their NAS and/or their Routers
While the placement is not optimal the Cisco provided good wireless coverage.

Set up is pretty easy, and the UI is relatively comprehensive (although it won't show you every device connected on each band, which is a big miss).Coverage is good with better coverage in a 3500 sq ft house, and it works as you'd expect in Access Point mode.
Setup was good, but I didn’t get good coverage throughout the house

Fantastic Router, Works great with multiple devices, great range, great signal
This router has excellent speed and range and has excellent parental controls that are very effective and great firmware all around.
Great speed, great range, great interface and fantastic capabilities
It is on the pricey range of routers, but research showed that this router had the best reviews and best life
I have a repeater at the far end of the house, so range is not an issue, all my machines are on LAN so the switch takes care of the speeds and data distribution, as I use a 24 Port GIG switch, the 4 lan ports on the Router are not an issue as well
Fantastic Router, Works great with multiple devices, great range, great signal
Speeds are incredibly stable over WIFI, wireless signal is also strong
The router is on the ground floor of my townhouse, and has no problem getting a good signal up to the third floor.
I bought this router to replace my Verizon-leased one, which had spotty and times nonexistent signal in my bedroom and was very pricey at $10/mo ($120/yr)
Then I disconnected from VPN, and Dropbox was dead I again
There's 3-4 applets to control things and 6 or so apps you can add to the router through the SRM just like you would add an app on your phone
I think the router looks cool and the apps are awesome and work well
I like the app that lets you see network traffic by device
I am unsure why the app is restricted; I have used Netgear's ReadyCLOUD app and it was able to backup my photos from the DCIM folder found on my sd card
After I tested the router few more times, I did confirmed Intrusion Prevention apps was the cause, once when I disable the app, everything runs fine.
Great speed, great range, great interface and fantastic capabilities
Speed is great throughout the house and the features can't be beat
I don't know if a different brand router could get faster speed
Checking the Synology forums it appears that this router is well-known for terrible vpn client speeds and people have been hoping for a solution for over a year to no avail.
Plus, the speeds—if you can even call it that, "speed"— were so bad that I was burning through cell data and even tethering my MBP to my phone
