I was surprised that you need to charge these ear phones for the noise reduction to work

I'm returning these headphones, they don't sound great and the noise cancelling does not work.

The weird thing is that the noise cancellation is fine, but when you turn on the function it amps up the audio signal (makes it louder), which kind of heightens the noise cancellation but is still a kind of a cheap trick to seem like it blocks out more noise

Superior noise cancelation make them perfect for discrete listening in the most challenging listening environments

I work in landscaping and mowing and the noise canceling worked great over the loud mowers and weed eaters

They have very good noise isolation for the price and pretty decent sound

If you want effective noise cancellation that you can take anywhere, bang on a little, and won't leave you weeping when the device is lost or torn asunder, these earbuds get the job done

Of course, if you need "zero" external sound, then you may consider to buy a much more expensive unit, but, if you just need a pair of in-ear phones with very good noise cancelling characteristic, then go for this one
