You might think that I was unlucky to get a defective unit
Of course, if you need "zero" external sound, then you may consider to buy a much more expensive unit, but, if you just need a pair of in-ear phones with very good noise cancelling characteristic, then go for this one
n’t work at all because it wouldn’t charge
Those units, when you turn down the volume, you can actually "feel" the ANC working by blocking out ambient noises, but for this unit, it was not working at all.
Later that same day I get an email telling me that it seems that I got a defective unit and a new one could be shipped with no expense to me

The only bad thing is they took away the button that allows you to monitor your surroundings.
The weird thing is that the noise cancellation is fine, but when you turn on the function it amps up the audio signal (makes it louder), which kind of heightens the noise cancellation but is still a kind of a cheap trick to seem like it blocks out more noise
People complain things are VERY loud when I am speaking to them on the phone.
