I needed a pair of wired headphones at work to drown out some of the more annoying things about people around me (having phone conversations that everyone can hear, for example) and these headphones did the trick

People complain things are VERY loud when I am speaking to them on the phone.

The only bad thing is they took away the button that allows you to monitor your surroundings.

The weird thing is that the noise cancellation is fine, but when you turn on the function it amps up the audio signal (makes it louder), which kind of heightens the noise cancellation but is still a kind of a cheap trick to seem like it blocks out more noise
