Also if the unit battery is too depleted you have to turn it off for 5 min while charging otherwise the low battery tone will keep going off even when the charging cable is connected.

I'm hoping it was just a single bad unit.

This little unit works great for using wired headphones remotely over Bluetooth with a Mac-mini set up as a media center.

I contacted them about the problem I was having and they replaced the bad unit within a week

Update: this unit has worked ok with my Bose Soundlink earphones over the last few months

Again, I liked this unit, but for music production I'm very picky.

At that point I realized this unit is much better than the competition
