I like the unit better without the CD drive

I'm recommending this unit to all of my friends that have an interest in home / portable studio projects

Great unit for the "tactile" analog-like feel

This is a beautiful unit, and feels solid

Unit records well, has some decent editing functions, modulations, compressions etc

Good unit but doesn't have any -5db or -10db pads for inputs, which is a problem because the input signal runs a little hot, even when I have the input volume all the way down it will still be easily peaking with certain mics and instruments
