So, this unit is outstanding, but now Tascam has introduced units which now cost less, but offer way more features and quality - insane

GREAT UNIT!

You might as well buy one of the cheaper units without wifi

Unit is NOT intuitive for operator

Second unit was great while testing

Sometimes because the unit drains batteries so fast it shuts off the wifi function

Otherwise the unit is great.

It is a shame because the recordings sound ok and it is a neat little compact unit

Solid unit for the money we use it to record rehearsals pretty decent sound quality

Additionally, it feels like a very sturdy unit, and I have confidence that the on-board mics are safe behind the guard bars

to me it's a fine and imho affordable unit.
