with the low end still in place it gives you a great unique distortion sound

I haven't found a bad sound on it yet and rarely leave it the same setting as it's so much fun to tweak and find new sonic territory.

For 40 bucks it's got a large range of settings and good sound

More drive pedals need to have multi-band EQ - it makes such a huge difference in the versatility of the pedal, and I can't imagine this sounding bad through any amp.

from a boast toalmost full out distortion that doesn't loose the sound of the buitar

This is a great sounding, solidly built pedal.

I actually prefer the sound of this pedal to a Fulltone OCD, it just sounds a little more livelier to me

I tried adjusting the mode, bass, treble settings and using this direct with no other effects, I even tried using with my Strat, but could not get a decent sound out of the overtones.

This is a very touch sensitive and organic sounding pedal

This pedal gives a very nice "tube-y" break up that sounds nice

Maximum gain level is a great "heavily over-driven clean amp" sound, with hints of fuzz.

The price of the two pedals together was very reasonable and it was worth a shot, but I couldn't produce enough usable sounds between the two of them to justify keeping either one

I can wrangle out more heavenly saturated sounds from my high-gain patches on my Blackstart ID15 amp with this pedal although turning the gain up on the pedal on a clean, low-gain patch sounds bad

It’s a decent overdrive pedal, but a bit dark sounding for my single coil guitars.

Honestly, my bass already has a great sound and built-in 3-way EQ, so I tend to keep the Treble/Bass settings on the pedal center and modify that directly on the bass.

I like this and the TC Dark Matter, together they produce a great sound through a small amp (Fender EC Vibro Champ)

Their pedals are always made with very sturdy metal casing, switches that give very definite feedback to being turned off/on, great internal wiring/design, and great sound.

Well, this pedal gives me that sound.

It had a strange oscillation sound in conjunction with the original sound, somewhat out of phase sound, that I didn't prefer.

With the knobs all set at twelve o'clock you get a nice overdriven sound, a fair bit of boost and crunch
