This would be an easy 5 star review if it had no issues and lasted 7-10 years

I had high hopes for this TV after reading many positive reviews.

only 720P. Full HD is 1080P- and this tv more or less "upgrades" the picture at 1080P to almost as good as 4K-reviews back this up on Rtings

Saw a few negative reviews along the lines of “when you buy TCL, you play the panel lottery” and my experience couldn’t be truer

+ tvs I just kept skipping over the great reviews for this non name brand tv

I had not heard of this brand before but decided to take the chance the reviews were correct

The reviews are consistent in praising the quality of this TV and after two weeks I totally agree

Obviously, I am a very early adopter here, so popular professional review sites have not yet published their reviews with exact numbers of what this means in terms of refresh rate and response time

(I generally trust CNET reviews)

To get the best picture quality, this TV requires quite some tweaking out of the box, but there are a lot of positive video reviews of this TV on YouTube that would teach you just that; I personally followed the instructions included in the video review by Digital Trends and Andrew Robinson
