Nevertheless, what I didn't know before getting this TV was that the best thing you could get from it was the visual upgrades when you watch contents in SDR
Mute works, but the only thing that seems to fix it is turning the TV off and then back on
The worst thing is that they will hold my refund for 3-4 weeks
A couple weeks later it started doing the same thing, except it froze on the startup screen and would not advance past it, even after several calls to TCL support
The agent was very pleasant and understanding, however all things considered useless because after 5 different troubleshooting methods......NOTHING.CHANGED
This TV rivals my much more expensive Samsung Q90T QLED TV.
Also the motion is now not as great as I once thought it was because of fairly choppy panning shot and when motion interpolation is activated it produces too many nasty artifacts
POS WON’T TURN AFTER 3 months!

The speakers are much better than the 4-series TV was, but I still have it connected to a Vizio Soundbar with a subwoofer to give it much better depth of sound.
A couple of times when we've turned on the TV, the volume sounds maxed out, so it's very loud, and the speakers are distorted
In addition to this issue, the speakers on the third TV blew out within three weeks
As I mentioned, the native speakers are much better than my older TV, and are usable
.that aside, speakers are more than loud enough, dont distort, just lack a bit in "depth" of sound quality vs modest soundbars
I noticed the clicking from changing inputs and each input had terrible noise loud hum or whatever the heck made the sound unbearable.
Also randomly when you turn the tv on there is a loud annoying noise when clicking through the apps
Picture is fantastic and not as bright as I

when you select one the volume also makes a loud annoying noise

However, the TV's Roku operating system crashes quite a bit, at least twice a week, caused by nothing more than hitting the power button or trying to turn down the volume

T. This means that wherever you plan to put the TV on need to have the required depth for the legs, you can't just leave a bit of the leg hanging out

Then audio sync issues started no matter what I watch on it
A few notes:I didn't hook up a sound bar (seems others have sync issues there.
In my limited experience much of the sync issues with
This TV has some pretty nasty and annoying bugs that might be potential deal breakers in the long run such as broken 24hz playback due to lip sync issues, TV randomly crashing for no reason, fairly glitchy HDMI inputs where the picture would be blinking non-stop no matter what HDMI cable you're using, and (more rare than others
Hi Domenick,Thank you for doing the steps provided and sending the photo to us, it seems that there is really a dead-pixel on the corner of the screen, however, here with TCL, the number of dead pixels affected does not fall under the criteria for the warranty, best option that is to return the television to the retailer and have it exchanged since it was only purchased

Each one was returned due to multiple dead pixels, or some sort of screen uniformity issue
Picture is fantastic and not as bright as I
a.k.a. a few dead pixels near the bezel, but they’ve earned my loyalty with a tremendous value proposition
