That one is a great TV, really bright and great colors but it has a couple of issues I can't live with

Nevertheless, what I didn't know before getting this TV was that the best thing you could get from it was the visual upgrades when you watch contents in SDR

Mute works, but the only thing that seems to fix it is turning the TV off and then back on

The worst thing is that they will hold my refund for 3-4 weeks

A couple weeks later it started doing the same thing, except it froze on the startup screen and would not advance past it, even after several calls to TCL support

The agent was very pleasant and understanding, however all things considered useless because after 5 different troubleshooting methods......NOTHING.CHANGED

After reading a few bad reviews here I was super scared to order this tv

Not sure why this TV has such good reviews - maybe I just got a lemon.

Saw a few negative reviews along the lines of “when you buy TCL, you play the panel lottery” and my experience couldn’t be truer

I had high hopes for this TV after reading many positive reviews.

I was excited to receive this TV as the last model got good reviews and our TV died.

The reason for four stars is the stupid preloaded Roku bloatware

Also love that you can use the roku remote on your phone since we always lose ours

Integrated Roku is very responsive and works well, using with an older surround receiver and ARC works really well to control it.

Only 2 weeks intro ownership, the TV started having a loud distorted sound that would not go away unless you turned the device off and on again.

That is, I will turn on the TV and the sound will be both unusually loud and distorted

Love the TV except the sound gets messed up occasionally and it seems the only way to fix it is to unplug it to “reset” the TV

The sound is good in my opinion for integrated speakers

The speakers are much better than the 4-series TV was, but I still have it connected to a Vizio Soundbar with a subwoofer to give it much better depth of sound.

A couple of times when we've turned on the TV, the volume sounds maxed out, so it's very loud, and the speakers are distorted

In addition to this issue, the speakers on the third TV blew out within three weeks

As I mentioned, the native speakers are much better than my older TV, and are usable

.that aside, speakers are more than loud enough, dont distort, just lack a bit in "depth" of sound quality vs modest soundbars

I noticed the clicking from changing inputs and each input had terrible noise loud hum or whatever the heck made the sound unbearable.

Also randomly when you turn the tv on there is a loud annoying noise when clicking through the apps

I purchased this Tv after my last TCL tv had an unfortunate accident and the screen was damaged

If I could win the panel lottery and get one that had a nice consistent screen this would be hands down an amazing TV.

Picture is awesome with Dolby Vision and the mini-LED screen

I don't notice any blooming to speak of and the screen is really clean and even, no blotches or banding.

Xbox One X.. and the TV has an automatic detection to swap your screen input refresh rate, to match the input of your gaming console

However, the TV's Roku operating system crashes quite a bit, at least twice a week, caused by nothing more than hitting the power button or trying to turn down the volume

T. This means that wherever you plan to put the TV on need to have the required depth for the legs, you can't just leave a bit of the leg hanging out

Hi Domenick,Thank you for doing the steps provided and sending the photo to us, it seems that there is really a dead-pixel on the corner of the screen, however, here with TCL, the number of dead pixels affected does not fall under the criteria for the warranty, best option that is to return the television to the retailer and have it exchanged since it was only purchased

These blotches were not so noticeable on dark scenes, but extremely distracting on any and all light scenes

First there is really bad ghosting on dark scenes where the edges of faces turn red when they move

I’ve watched a range of shows and movies on this, from dark scenes to bright ones, and nearly everything is perfectly visible

During high action and colorful scenes it wasn't very apparent but the TV is over a thousand

HDR10 is pretty amazing, and there's literally zero butter with fast moving scenes or spinning the camera around in games

Remote does not work and I had to unplug it because it keeps coming on.

And I check the sound bar and is does not have this issue with my other 65 in our room

My only caution is if you have a fairly wide viewing angle it isn't great and Samsung does much better with wider viewing angles.

Sony X900F has HDMI 2.1, however it does not yet support 4k at 120hz.

This tv, does not have blooming, light bleed, or dirty screen issues as others have mentioned
