Tea Kettle Stovetop Whistling Teakettle Teapot, Stainless Steel, Thin Base, Mirror Finish, 2 liters

    • Well done, the handle doesn't get hot, and arthritic hands and thumbs are easy to hold and pour
    • For those with poor hands, the only worry is that they will be very heavy when full
    • The black Bakelite handle is too thin and it burns your hand when you try to pick
    • It gets too hot to pick up without a glove by the time the water boils, and I've burnt my hand more than once.
    • It's attractive, handle is positioned so the steam doesn't burn your hand, and it has a nice "polite" whistle, not an irritating screech like some teakettles have.
    • It always spills when you pour it, and you need to use a pot holder so you don't burn your hand on the handle!
    • Easy to clean, no problem, put your hands and cloth inside
    • After use, the large opening lets you get your hand in there to clean and dry it with a towel before you put it away
    • You really need to wear gloves, otherwise the steam will heat the handle and burn your hands
    • The minimal whistling happens through the top of the lid which is close to the handle and burns your hand because there is steam coming out from the top
    • The handle feels good, the kettle is beautiful and heats up relatively quickly for its size .... but the flap over the spout doesn't fall open properly to let the water pour out, and the whistle doesn't work, although it lets enough steam come through to make the handle wet and to almost burn your hand when you go to pick it up.
    • This kettle has a fine, attractive finish, is easy for my old hands to manipulate and boils quickly
    • It overheated as it did not whistle!!!!
