The lid fits well with the kettle and the balance during pouring is also very good.

However, I scalded my wrist and hand when the lid fell off while I was pouring water and the steam burn caused blisters and a lot of pain.

I really wanted to like it but the lid is really hard to take off when the kettle is hot, also the handle gets pretty hot
