It's a nice looking kettle and heats water fast but does not whistle much (a very low moan apparently only heard by dogs) and I am a senior citizen who needs to hear that whistle as a safety reminder.

may return, due to 'no' or barely audible whistle...too bad because it is great looking, heats up nicely and the size is fine for me
