It has a parallel out which is great for monitoring in a live situation, and it also has an XLR output which will convert an unbalanced signal to a balanced XLR signal (this means a nice clean signal that can travel long distances without introducing line noise and such)

The eq controls are very good and the signal is clean, although the drive control can provide plenty of grit if you want it.
