We have a mix of carpeted and vinyl flooring in the office, and I have broken off 2 wheels (which are actually cheap plastic casters) on the rubber trim that lines the edge of the carpet as it transitions onto the vinyl flooring.

I read the 1 star reviews on this item and I was very hesitant to buy it b/c of the complaints about not being easy to assemble and the parts not fitting together
