Audio quality is pretty good on the 2P3, This radio uses a larger 1 watt speaker which gives it a deeper less tinny tone

Provided that you follow the directions completely, you will have a fine quality AM radio for your listening pleasure.

Probably the best thing about this kit is the history of the 2P3 radio that's printed both on the box this comes in, as well as on one "page" of the large instruction manual/poster.
