Tenda AC1900 Dual Band Gigabit Performance Wi-Fi Router with Open Source Support (AC18)

    • All told, it's a fine router for the money and has decent range and performance.
    • You'd think if their performance was as poor as it is, they'd give me the best router to maximize what they possibly could, but nope
    • When i was using it with ethernet cable, the performance wasn't very nice for my 50mb adsl.
    • Very nice performance against its price.
    • The product is very well priced and the performance is excellent
    • I am not a tech expert, but did work methodically through the Tenda interface to make sure I was setting things up for the greatest possible performance.

    • Performance is solid -- fast and reliable -- and range has been excellent
    • Typically, the performance is good too (realize all my devices are "N").
    • Excellent performance at a great price.
    • All in all, great performance for the price.
    • so performance was good out of the box.
    • When I fired it up and ran benchmarks, I was delighted by the result: Its performance was indistinguishable from the wired connection
    • I wish the performance was better, but for the cost and what it offers, I think this is a good option, especially if you are trying to get 802.11ac wireless.
    • Either way, it is a great router for someone who wants great performance at a good
    • Having had an Asus RT-N53 router prior to this unit I have come to rely on the solid performance that comes with a name brand product
    • Simple setup and great range and performance.
    • Performance wise, this router is a beast.
    • Same terrible performance
    • Signal strength very good throughout my 2 story house with both 5 and 2.4 G. Very good performance for the price.
    • Performance is good, and it has a lot of features (e.g., QoS / parental controls, beam-forming, support for multiple SSIDs) that are normally the reason you buy an expensive router
    • PC to PC performance is great.
    • Great product, easy to setup and wonderful 5GHz performance/signal strength and a decent 2.4Ghz signal strength
    • The router has way more settings and configuration options, but performance wise, there was no difference
    • This router offers decent performance with hassle free set up
    • Since then performance has been very good.
    • but I’d imagine those with multicore processors should experience even better performance
    • Now I have no idea how long this router will last, but its performance is stellar
    • 5/5 Stars for great performance at a great price
    • My only minor complaint is the size, but if the size keeps it from overheating or gives it better performance in any way it's worth it.
    • importantly, this router works well and performance is excellent
    • I have fast WiFi speeds and solid performance on the third-floor using the 2.4 GHz band

    • However, such poor performance meant it had to be returned.
    • aren't everything but cheap performance is!
    • Performance is great and a nice upgrade from an ac1200 router it replaced
    • However from a pure consumer standpoint I dont care about it since I get rock solid stable performance day after day since the router is 'fresh' everyday
    • Extremely easy set up, rock solid strong performance.
    • The price was right and when it's working the performance is great
    • Wow, incredible performance and great price
    • but I was able to stream from a G3258 to an older i7 macbook and apart form the occasional tiny glitch the performance was excellent usually only adding 20ms of latency with a spike here and there depending on the action
    • Outstanding performance for the price
    • Flawlessly wonderful performance for about 18 to 19 months and then minor issues
    • Very happy so far with its solid performance.
    • it's cheap, powerful range and sits upright requiring limited space, looks like a Gucci purse is the only down side but delivers great performance for the money.
    • I wanted a dual band router with better performance than what I had.
    • As an AP you really notice it only has 3 Ethernet ports as you will lose one, but if you have a switch that is not a problem.
    • My friend recommended this router to me as he mentioned it is working very well for him, so I decided to give it a shot
    • I had been worried that Apple's departure from wifi hub manufacturing would result in a decline in overall capabilities, but I'm very pleased with this offering from Tenda as well as with the remarkable user interface offered within the firmware, far more than I'm used to in the Airport system.
    • It is a very clean and well laid-out interface, and makes setting up and customizing the router very intuitive and easy
    • Works as it should.
    • The 5gh works for my printer and the husband's), as well as our tv, computers, tablets, phones, etc
