It's the 3rd one I bought, the other 2 will charge 4 batteries at a time, and are great, but this one has a few more nice things about it.--12 at a time, I mean, come on!--it will give a discharge to the battery before recharging--status on the batteries,

Good thing is that you can charge many batteries at once, or only one if needed

The only thing I do not like is the screen is very bright and will illuminate a dark room

I charge generally about 12 batteries at a time and this thing has no problem doing it at all

We were using one of these at a battery dropoff/charging station at our company and some folks who weren't paying attention and trying to do a good thing placed their depleted alkaline batteries into the Tenergy charger.

Being able to charge 12 batteries at once is a good thing, and the fact that you don't have to worry about keeping batteries in pairs is a good thing, too, as we all have a gadget or two that takes one or three batteries

The other cool thing is the ( drain ) feature where you can push one button and take all your batteries to almost empty where they won't develop a memory
