Very happy with these - fans and outside noise no longer register, and words with 'P's no longer cause a hard pop on phone calls.
Take it from a guy who has been flying small civilian airplanes since 1988, military aircraft since 1996, and major airlines since 2008....simply this product works for any application and fits Bose, David Clark and any other headset that costs less
The covers help to remove the pops and crackles from the mic, as well as fan noise and any (creepy) breathing sounds
If you use a headset without one of these windscreens on it, these will do a great job and make everything much cleaner sounding.
These JUST fit over the mic and really help smooth out the sound.
It's a bargain for what it does - cutting wind sound into the mic (see my use).
VERY happy with these, so happy I ordered two pckgs, they make a HUGE difference in sound quality while teaching and no breathing sounds audible even during vigorous exercise, they fit the small over the ear mic piece very well
I use them on ever single headset, I work from home and talk on a headset/mic all day, this will protect the mic and when you have a cough or cold the mic does not get wet and ruin the complete headset, I can just replace with a new one.

Good little mic filter blocks out a nice amount of background noise.
Definitely needed, even if don’t play in room with a fan constantly on, it reduces background noise for the people you’re playing with giving you a better experience
