and I learned a few things also, such as the advantages and disadvantages of various draught animals, the pace of travel so as not to overwork the animals, the type of wagon most suitable for the trail, etc.

OT2 had different pieces for certain scenarios, like reaching mountains, people dying, things going poorly, and especially the climatic final stretch towards Oregon...this game has none of these.

It explains things like oxen are better for pulling than horses and you should buy vinegar bc it prevents scurvy

The only thing I had to do was download a quick fix patch, and it worked perfectly.

It's the next best thing to being there

A good thing I do like is the fact one can see how many $$$$ they have as they travel.

If your parts start breaking on the trail, traders will want insane things (like 1 or more oxen, your only rifle/shotgun, etc.) in exchange for a replacement, and the more you haggle, the higher the demands go in amount, so it's better to not get that desperate.-Get to your destination before Dec 15
