Amazing graphics, very deep emotional story, awesome controls, good combat, and hours and hours of exciting adventure

But in an RPG in 2017, people deserve a better story than this.

If they managed to scatter the mysteries of the plot into a wider dispersal and with stronger story integration, this might have fixed it

my 'must play on day 1' list, but I had no intention of rushing through Horizon to get to BotW. Horizon was a huge game, action packed, filled with exploration, told a great classic sci-fi story

Such a great story line

Theres no master sword, hyrule shield, dungeons, rich story line or anything like that

Heck, even maybe you play Gannon and explore the story from Gannon's point of view where there are multiple story endings and in one really difficult story ending you really do take over Hyrule

Got this for family member, as always incredible graphics & good story line.

On that list is Xenoblade and Xenoblade chronicles X, final fantasy 15 and 7 as well as fantasy life(the story of fantasy life was boring, but the gameplay was so fun.

It has a cute story.

The story is amazing, but it does become repetitive after defeating one boss

It controls smoothly, Hyrule has never looked better or more colorful, the environments are amazing, the boss battles are actually challenging and don't just rely on "find dungeon item, use it to expose boss and repeat" My only complaints are the voice acting is a little off sometimes and the story is a bit lacking

Love the story, game-play and features

The story is fun as always and this is worth it to any Zelda fanboy.

The real downside of the game is that (in my opinion) the story is very lacking and cliche in comparison to other storylines in the series

Story isn't bad, but is just not as interesting as the world/environment deserves

It was pretty dull and leaves a lot to be desired, so hopefully the future DLC will give us a better story

This game is good by all means, good graphics, good story, gameplay, etc

If I wasn't shrine-hunting or looking for Korok seeds, the side quests kept me busy, and some of them had really great stories to them

The other pivotal characters also feel uniquely more fleshed out as well, providing some of the most memorable story cut-scenes in a Zelda game, or any Nintendo game.

The expansive open world setting and a great story make this one of the best Zelda games ever made

Great open world, the battle system is adictive and fun, the story is good enough to keep you going

A wonderful game full of surprises, exploration, fantastic characters, a great story

I found myself not caring about the weak story in this one

Many people complaine about the game's story, but when you look at it in every way its story is absolutely amazing

The story of the game isn't very straightforward and does't present itself in a conventional manner... you must unlock links memories by finding certain places on the map, and they can be found out of order which makes it very confusing

If you want to see what happened and why the story is like this, than do it

The dungeons are their own stories for the most part, some better than others, and then you go to the final place and that's pretty much it

It makes for a richer and more interesting story.+Gameplay is king in Zelda games

Though Wind Waker and Skyward Sword might rival it, this is probably the best Zelda story to date.

Story and adventure are amazing..

For true Zelda fans who love the story and lore, it’s a must to do the memories and side quests, though I will bypass them as traversal is more of a nuisance for me.

Ocarina had exploration, a great immersive coherent story, big region unique dungeons with a different memorable boss fight at the end of each one, different enemies in each region, and great side quests

Skyward Sword, while lacking in other areas, ranks among my favorite Zelda games because I'm a sucker for a great story, and while BOTW isn't quite as good story-wise, it is still great

Right now I'm sitting this at a 2 instead of 1 in hopes that the story might make the game improve my opinion

There are a lot of things to do in this game, it has an awesome story and a bunch of places and landscapes

The game is entrancing, with the world being vast and vibrant, and a lot of small challenges and side-quests to overcome and acccomplish, without hurting the main, well versed story line of becoming the hero you were (meant to be)

I’m happy to again see the Gorons, the Zoras, Tingle, and other familiar character/s

The style feels reminiscent of Skyward Sword’s, which I also adored, but taken to the next level.
