Overall the Sims 3 University Life is the best expansion pack since World Adventures.

So despite the cons, I really like this expansion.

The expansions are all great, and this one was the one I was waiting for

All in all I found it a very boring Expansion Pack, but at least the new furniture, clothes and hairstyles are nice to have.

I thought University for Sims 2 was one of the best expansions ever.

One downside though is this expansion is a bit buggy (i.e. random flipping when walking through doors, pre-existing sims not possessing smartphones, persistent ringing/texts, etc)

Not the most amazing expansion pack, but I usually get them for more objects and clothes, as opposed to actual gameplay
