I activated the phone during a layover in London and everything worked great

Great phone card, the setup is a breeze and worked well in Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland , Italy, and UK.

My advice is to make sure that you download any apps you think you may want BEFORE using the SIM card if you think that phone number verification might be required.

I found the SIM worked the best in the UK, fairly well in Ireland, and about as well or better in Belgium and Holland with 3G data (only place it said 4G was in the UK).However, my phone frequently lost services for a few minutes at a time, only to have coverage restored a few minutes later.

(If your phone is not unlocked, it's not difficult to do, but to use this card, your phone must be unlocked before you leave the US.

My husband insisted we could just use wifi the entire trip, so he spent a good amount of time stealing my phone to look up restaurant reviews and get locations when we were out and about.

It seemed like my phone would drop to 3G while the screen was off, and return to 4G when I turned it on
