I love the dial for tuning in to radio stations too; far superior to discrete digital channel selection, since you can hone in on the exact bandwidth where the signal is clearest.

Helpful hint: remember to throw the switch on the back of the unit when you install the external antenna, otherwise it won't boost the signal

Both have a weak signal and with other interference I didn't think I would ever find a radio to meet my objectives.
