Great GPS, easy to use!

Still prefer dedicated GPS for trips, guess I have to find another brand after 10 years of being a loyal customer

I also find a GPS really useful for night driving, even when I am driving in familiar areas because I have a tough time with night blindness

This GPS is a real upgrade for me, but I still love my old one which is TomTom One.

Most of the time, I drive in areas with no cell coverage, so a GPS dependent on cell service is useless for me

The first Gps was plagued with problems, the update took 2 hours, the screen would constantly flicker making it impossibe to see the screen, so we returned it and the next one kept automatically adjusting the brightness to 0% and turning off

The TomTom VIA 1525TM is a solid GPS unit, but the marketing material may set false expectations.

The 1625 is adequate and I will keep it, but I am still looking for a good, simple GPS with a user-friendly TomTom style interface.

If not, forgetting to turn the unit off will result in a dead GPS battery when you return to your car

I personally like the GPS and using Google Maps on my phone

The 1525Tm isn't a bad GPS navigatgor, per se
